Fernbank Cottage is a seafront holiday cottage on the shoreline of Bruichladdich, one of the most characterful villages on the Scottish island of Islay. Bruichladdich Distillery is right next door, and the cottage looks across Loch Indaal towards Bowmore and the Paps of Jura — a lovely base for slow mornings, island walks and whisky-country exploring.

Inside is a fully equipped kitchen with separate dining area, high-speed Wi-Fi and a smart TV. There is a WC downstairs and a shower room upstairs, also with a toilet. There is one double bedroom upstairs and a separate double sofa-bed in the living room.

Bruichladdich is centrally placed on Islay, one of Scotland’s Hebridean islands. The village has a convenience store and coffee shop, along with Bruichladdich Distillery and shop. Port Charlotte and its distillery are five minutes away by car or around 30 minutes along the coastal path; Bowmore Distillery, both ferry terminals and Islay Airport are all within 30 minutes.
